** Electric Overhead Traveling Crane (EOTC) & Gantry Crane **

1. General Description
- * Lifting capacity of the cranes with single girder or double girder designed, now available with us to meet the world markets, ranges from 5 ton/set up to 500 tons/set.  As regards the span of cranes, 5 meters up to 60 meters are within our scope of supply. * Speeds for hoisting, traversing and travelilng operations can be satisfied to the customer's requirements by means of standardized hoists with motorized trolley or inverter especially for speed variations.
- Quality products designed to KS, JIS and other the international standards and codes are absolutrely supplied for the customers. In particular, major electrical components including electric motor, PLC and inverter of western European brands such as ABB, Siemens, Schneider, etc. are also supplied for the customer, if required.
- Major attachments designed to be fitted with the cranes, as applicable, such as electrric wire rope hoist, electro-magnetic brake, lifting magnet system, spreader, coil lifter & grab, grapple, tong, hydraulic bucket, cable reel, etc. are also supplied for replacement or complement as a unit.

2. Mechanical & Electrical Components
- Electro-magnetic brakes are suitable for hoisting, and shoe brakes activated by electro-hydraulic thrustors are generally used for traveling and traversing operation. Gear boxes are of the fully-enclosed oil bath type with either casted or welded castings. Traveling driving units are separately installed at each end of the crane. Gear box is mounted directly on the wheel shaft, whereas brake and motors are connected to the gearbox utilizing the flange. All wheels are equipped with roll bearings and are housed in either bogies or box typed end carriages. As regards the rope system, all cranes have welded roppe-drums made from welded steel tube with machined double grooves. All motors used for cranes have high torque and are designed for frequent full-load starts. Flange mounting of the motor is usually utilized for cranes because of its reliable shaft aligning without the help of special couplings.

3. Electrical Control Systems
- Secondary resistor control in one of the most generalized systems for controlling the speed of wound motor by means of speed variations made by adding or reducing resistance of the secondary circuit. Speed control brake control is a system for controlling the speede of motor by making a direct connection of hydraulic speed control brake with the motor along eith the secondary resistor control system. Eddy current brake control is operated for motor in such a manner that the magnetic poles are exited by a flow of DC and the drum is rotated, the drum cuts the lines of flux of the magnetic poles and eddy currents are generated in the drum, and these eddy currents effectively generate a magnetic field that is the crossing of the existing field of the poles. This phenomenon of opertion is used to produce a brake torque, retarding the rotation of the drum. The braking torque of the eddy current brake is determined by the exiting current magnitude and the speed of rotation of the drum. DC dynamic control system applies the principle of electrical dynamic braking system in such a manner that DC exciting current if the wound type motor produces electrical braking torque along with the AC current which are generated bt the secondary stator coil. This control system regulates the DC exiting current of motor according to the difference between the reference voltage determined by the master control switch and pilot-generated voltage, which is proportional to the motor speed. The system is recommended especially for heavy duty capacity of cranes. AC primary voltage control is a system for controling the speed of motor by regulating the primary voltage and current together with the secondary resistor control system. Inverter control is a system for controling the speed of squirrel cage type of motor by controling the voltage and frequency, which are on the sharp increasing demand nowdays, and it is strongly recommended that an inverter system be used for heavy duty of overhead cranes calling for the sophisticated control of speed variations and torque.

- As regards prices, such integrated electric mechanical systems as overhead cranes and gantry cranes largely depend on the applicable technical requirements especially for lifitng capacity, lifting height, speeds of hoisting, traveling and traversing operation, span, traveling distance, class of protection, method of control (by cabin, remote control and/or pendent push button switches), etc. As a result, your cranes will be most effectively and economically designed by our superb experienced design team on the basis of your technical specifications absolutely incorporated into each component and system in order for the equipment to optimize your requirements and market situations.
